Enhanced descriptions from Syndetics:
An irresistible tale of love, friendship and sweet revenge, perfect for readers of Cathy Kelly and Erica James
Darcey and Nieve were best friends - until Nieve stole Aidan, the boy Darcey had fallen in love with while Nieve was travelling. Aidan was going to propose the very night Nieve caught his eye - Darcey had seen the ring.
Over the next ten years, Darcey has been haunted by the memory of her humiliation. Nothing can heal the wound - no career success, no comfort her eccentric but loving family can offer, not even her (short-lived) marriage to Neil.
And then the invitation arrives: to the wedding of Aidan and Nieve. She's seen neither of them since they left Ireland for life in the USA. They're coming home to have the wedding of a lifetime at Ireland's most expensive hotel.
Will Darcey be there? Will there be fireworks? And can the past be put to rest at last?

Library Journal Review
O'Flanagan's Irish chick-lit novel, a No. 1 best seller in the UK, tells of two childhood best friends, Darcey and Nieve, whose friendship was severed over an incident involving Darcey's intended fiance, Aiden. Ten years later, Nieve's wedding to Aiden stirs up memories for all of them. Caroline Lennon, who's read four other O'Flanagan titles for Recorded Books, narrates this slightly overlong story, which has Darcey and Nieve surviving many pitfalls along the way to the requisite happy ending. Her Irish accent is a perfect match for the story and greatly enhances the listening experience. A light romance that may appeal to fans of Maeve Binchy's novels and Sophie Kinsella's "Shopaholic" series.-Mary Knapp, Madison P.L., WI (c) Copyright 2010.
