Enhanced descriptions from Syndetics:
In the Sea of Japan lies Okunoshima Island, a popular wildlife tourist destination that is teeming with wild bunnies. Visitors come from near and far to visit the island's furry inhabitants, who are surprisingly tame and accustomed to human interaction.
Now kids can come spend a day with the bunnies of Bunny Island . These irresistible creatures, captured in full-color, full-page photographs, are naturals in front of the camera. Young children will delight in these close-up photos of wiggling, yawning and kissing bunnies. The brief but endearing text will appeal to the animal lover in all of us.
These are seriously busy bunnies! Flip through the pages to see how the bunnies hop, hop, hop and zoom, zoom, zoom across the page. Actions are accentuated with repetitive text to teach young children action words and invite them to join in on the fun. There is no quicker way to learn about bunnies!
The book also includes facts about bunnies and Okunoshima Island.

Booklist Review
In a flood of unadulterated cuteness, a small cast of busy baby bunnies pose in sunlit outdoor settings opposite exclamations in big letters: I'm just waking up. Good morning! Look at me run! Bunnies are quick. Zoom, zoom, zoom. My mom makes me eat leafy greens too! Munch, munch, munch. In Fukuda's ground-level photographs, surrounding details are slightly blurred to draw attention to the central figures, but every fine hair on each neatly groomed lagomorph is sharply visible. Action words are set in even bubblier fonts, adding even more energy. Anthropomorphic though the narrative is (My friend and I are always telling jokes. Ha, ha, ha), it's nigh impossible to resist stroking the pages, and only viewers with hearts of stone will fail to coo over the bunnies' stubby little ears and big, dark eyes. Bedtime ends the daily round of fun, but kits of the two-legged sort will definitely opt for repeat visits.--Peters, John Copyright 2016 BooklistThere are no comments on this title.
