In these two series books, four-page chapters briefly describe the careers and accomplishments of eleven political reformers or outlaws. Overcrowded pages are full of illustrations, photos, text boxes, and sidebars. While the individuals, including Mahatma Gandhi, William Tell, and Nelson Mandela, merit attention, not enough useful information is given. Glos., ind.
