Enhanced descriptions from Syndetics:
Shells come in all sizes, shapes, and colors, and they seem to hold the compelling mysteries of the sea--as well as the key to beautiful original decorations, home accents, and gifts. Using a poetic, personal text, and lovely soft-toned photos, one of the most creative crafters working today (with some special friends) offers more than 25 romantic ideas for seashell projects. Paint shell-covered sweetheart boxes a translucent pearl, make shell wind chimes, give an angel shell wings, and more!

Booklist Review
Seashells are beautiful in and of themselves, but by combining nature with human-made objects, it is possible to extend their beauty even further. Illustrated with lovely photographs, this book includes both ordinary decorations, such as pictures framed in shells, and drawer pulls, candles, and colorful flowerpots. Accompanied by quotes from sea lovers such as Anne Morrow Lindberg, the book combines shell craft ideas with interior design themes using nature. The directions are easy enough to follow. This should be a must for libraries in coastal areas or for patrons who winter along the seashore. --Marlene ChamberlainThere are no comments on this title.
