School Library Journal Review
Gr 2-4-Concise, informative books filled with facts. Colorful cover designs; clear, staged photographs; and diagrams offering precise labeling are featured in each one. Many of the photos of insects in Stings are close-ups, though the text does not indicate that they have been magnified many times. In all of the titles, each page includes a photo and two or three lines of large-print text. While these books are limited in content, children with no background on these subjects will find them accessible.-Donna Marie Wagner, Harris County Public Library, Houston, TX (c) Copyright 2010.
