Enhanced descriptions from Syndetics:
The Adventures continue as the Flopsy Bunnies fail to avoid Mr. McGregor after eating their fill of overgrown lettuce from the rubbish heap. The trouble they manage to get into and out of - makes for another enjoyable tale in the fantasy world of Beatrix Potter. From the original book including the illustrations that Beatrix Potter made so dear to us all, this book is for little hands to hold and to love. Compiled and arranged by author R.F. Gilmor.

School Library Journal Review
PreS-Gr 1-The classic stories have been newly illustrated in a larger format. Rasmussen's illustrations emulate the delicacy and intricacy of the animal world that Beatrix Potter originated while at the same time reflecting certain human characteristics through the subtleties of facial expression. The texts are in an accessible large font against a white background bordered by a thin pale green border. Pictures are both interspersed within the text and also full page on the same pale green background. Still, Potter's work in the original Warne publications remains the standard for these stories. Biographical information about Potter and her legacy is appended.-Rita Soltan, Youth Services Consultant, West Bloomfield, MI (c) Copyright 2010.
