School Library Journal Review
Gr 3-7-In order to get off academic probation, Timmy Failure has to ace an upcoming assignment: the Miracle Report. He is surely doomed from the start as he is paired with his archnemesis to complete the project. There's a motley cast of characters, including a stuffed polar bear named Total who is also Timmy's business partner; the aforementioned archnemesis, Corinna; and his best friend, Rolo Toukas. The story often takes unnecessary tangents, leaving listeners confused at times. It's also filled with humor that is on the crude side. The story is narrated by Jared Goldsmith, who does a great job of bringing the character of Timmy to life and helps to save the otherwise dull story. VERDICT This audiobook may be best suited for listening with the print edition at hand, which may help listeners stay focused on the scattered story line.--Jessica Gilcreast, Bedford School District, NH (c) Copyright 2015.
