Enhanced descriptions from Syndetics:
Flat Stanley's adventures take a new turn when Stanley gets to be INVISIBLE!
One morning, after a terrible storm, Stanley Lambchop is nowhere to be found. His family can hear him, and there is a lump under his covers, but no one can find him! Just where is that boy?
Then they discover the truth--Stanley is invisible! At first there are great adventures for an invisible boy to have. Stanley becomes an unseen helper in a bike race, on a television show, and even fighting crime! But then Stanley starts to miss being seen, and he wonders if he will stay invisible forever.
It turns out that there is more to being invisible than meets the eye!
The Flat Stanley books by Jeff Brown have been entertaining young readers for years. Read them all!

School Library Journal Review
Gr 2-3-Stanley Lambchop continues his antics begun in Flat Stanley (1964) and Stanley and the Magic Lamp (1996, both HarperCollins). This time, he disappears during an electrical storm. He takes advantage of his invisibility, helping to steady a new bike rider and avoid the jeers of older children, and helping a shy man propose to his sweetheart by saying "marry me" for him. Stanley also gives his younger brother the spotlight by appearing (or rather not appearing) on a talk show to assist him with magic tricks. And finally, he helps foil a bank robbery attempt. Björkman's simple, cartoonlike sketches add to the humorous episodes that are sure to tickle the funny bones of early chapter-book readers.-Christina Dorr, Calcium Primary School, NY (c) Copyright 2010.
